Bulldogs Shutout the Sequoits

The Bulldogs were too much for the Sequoits.

The girl’s Varsity soccer team came up short last night with a tough loss against the Wauconda Bulldogs. The girls played a tough game and gave it their all, but unfortunately could not find the back of the net.

Wauconda came out strong, scoring three goals and not allowing the Sequoits to score. Senior Christina Michaels thinks that the Sequoits held a strong defensive line, but it just was not enough to stop the Bulldogs from scoring their three goals.

The Sequoits are looking to redeem themselves in their next game, staying optimistic for what is to come. The next game for the Sequoits is on Thursday, April 20, at 6:15 against Grant Community High School. The girls are in the midst of their soccer season with a 7-3-2 record. The season is looking hopeful for the Sequoits with many more wins to come.
