The boys varsity tennis team has seen a lot of new players join the team this season. However, the team has been focusing on improving the basic skills they need to get the results they want. The team as a whole has had a rough season so far, going 2-6.

“Right now I’m just focusing on the basic fundamentals since this is my first year,” junior Elijah Reyes said. “Next year I think we [will] have a lot of potential, but right now we’re taking it one step at a time.”

The boys take on Woodstock North this Friday and are hoping to add another win to their record.
