Take a break from the treadmill, and take a run with these fun and energizing workouts.
With spring making an appearance, and summer coming around the corner, it can be challenging to get that “beachbod” you’re satisfied with. It can be challenging if sports practice isn’t on the agenda. Exercising usually doesn’t sound too appealing; it’s common to imagine sweating on a treadmill, melting to a puddle of mush, but these energizing workouts will challenge your mentality, and give your body a whole lot of lovin’.
Spinning Classes
These high intensity workouts will leave you feeling good. “I love spin classes,” said senior Michelle Brichetto, “they really challenge me. They make you sweat a lot, but if you listen to music, it really pumps you up and helps time move faster.”
Zumba
Dancing is naturally fun, whether it be goofing off with friends, or performing an actual piece, it works out the whole body. Zumba is highly active, and is a lot of fun with friends.
HIIT workouts
These kick my butt every time, but afterwards leave me feeling accomplished. HIIT workouts are a training technique where you give one hundred percent effort via quick and intense bursts of exercise, followed by a short recovery period. The typical workout lasts around twenty minutes.
T25

Jazzercise
Popular in the 80’s, jazzercises are spunky and are too fun to ever go out of style. They’re great for cardio, and can easily be accessed on Youtube. Get that sweat band out, neon leg warmers, and pump your body with this fun and energetic way to get back into shape.
