The varsity boys baseball team had a very successful week of tryouts with many new faces coming into the program and even more returning with hopes of repeating last season’s successes. All of the potential players played their hearts out every night as they fought for a spot on the varsity roster. With all of the talent that came out, many will say that it will be a year to remember for the baseball team.
“Tryouts went well,” junior Kyle Bukowy said. “They got me back into baseball shape after the long winter. I think the season will go well and I believe the team is ready for the 2019 season.”
The team’s first game is currently scheduled at McHenry high school at 4:30 p.m.
