The Sequoit baseball team faced off against Palatine High School on Saturday, April 9th. “The team went into the game with high hopes and a lot of confidence,” says senior Tyler Glassman,
“We came into the game knowing it was a tough team, looking for the win, and to end a pretty good week. We hoped it would start something that will come into this week and get a bunch of wins,” said Glassman
The game started off slow for the Sequoits, but they held a good defense, not giving up a run and climbing three points above their opponents. Glassman commented, “the defense was rolling behind our pitcher Sonny, who just pitched a great game and that is the type of caliber that we need to have to be a great team.”
They finished the game with 3-0 in favor of the Sequoits.
With another win under their belt, the team is ready to face another week of games.
