Many people lose touch with the relationships they have had with their friends. Friendships ending due to lack of communication or just simply a conflict in personality is very common. Many reasons can lead to a drastic decline in someone’s partnership. Events like these definitely appear in certain bands that over the past few years, have caused them to drift apart and break up.

One big break up that devastated many fans was when singer Zayn Malik split off from his original X Factor singing group, One Direction. One of his reasons for leaving included not making the style of music he wanted to create, which lead up to him leaving and creating his own title as a solo artist.

“I cried, I actually cried,” junior Bailey Yturralde said.

After he left, the remainder of the group had announced that after a long hiatus, they would not be returning back together as One Direction.

Events like this have also recently been revealed about Camila Cabello, and her break from Fifth Harmony. Like Malik, Cabello also decided that it was time for her to move forward and pursue a solo career for herself.

“As sad as it is to see this chapter ending this way, I will continue to root them all on as individuals and as a group, I wish nothing but the best for them, all the success in the world and true happiness,” writer Stephanie Webber of US Weekly said.

 While partnerships might not always last, hopefully each group member moves on and finds a new path for themselves.
