Soccer Showdown 2015 puts forth a realistic representation of a soccer game’s penalty shootout. The game has two ways to compete, online and league. In the online gameplay, a random generator finds an evenly matched opponent from around the world based on experience and level. The online experience also has weekly updates of which country scores the most goals. The league gameplay puts you in the position of a soccer team. You compete against several different countries in a 16 game season.

As you progress, you gain experience and gold. The gold that is earned can be used to upgrade your glove and soccer ball. The glove can be upgraded by adding size and reach to it, while the ball can be upgraded by adding power and curve to it. If you find it hard to gain gold in the app, the app has in app purchases that allow you to purchase gold using a debit or credit card.
