Turn a phone into an arcade with this modern day remake of Frogger. This week’s App Of The Week, Crossy Road by Yodo1 Games, brings back the experience of playing the classic game Frogger.

Crossy Road allows users to play as over 50 retro style avatars, ranging from a tiny flea all the way to a mad bull, as players attempt to cross randomly generated train tracks, rivers and roads with strange, never ending traffic. As users progress they will come across coins that are floating on logs in the river, in the middle of the road, or hidden behind bushes. When users earn 100 coins they are able to buy a chance at receiving a new character. Most characters come with their own special setting which gives each different avatar their own unique feel.
