Every other Friday, the students and staff of Antioch Community High School have the privilege to hear the spirited percussion of the Marching Sequoits’s talented drumline. As the line procession marches throughout the school on Friday mornings, students get pumped for different happenings from sporting events, to celebrating the exciting weekend after a stressful week of school.

Junior and member of ACHS’s marching band and drumline, Ben Dahms said, “Drums are like the heartbeat to the band. They are truly essential to all types of music. I enjoy spreading the school spirit to students in the mornings, especially through music”.

The drumline’s wake up call has become ACHS’s Friday anthem and puts more pep-in-your-step in students and staff for the school day.
