Last night, the winners of Outstanding Senior Boy and Girl were announced at Antioch Community High School’s Honors Night. Seniors Nathan Borries and Ashley Hare are the winners, voted on by both the senior class and staff.

These two seniors will represent the graduating class, having proven their work ethic and community value. Pictures of the winners will hang on the wall near the school entrance for years to come, much like the preceding Outstanding Senior Boys and Girls.

ACHS also has the Outstanding Senior Boy and Girl speak at graduation in lieu of valedictorians.

“It is a really cool honor,” Borries said. “With there being a polling with teachers and students, it makes the honor more significant.”
