2016 Girl’s Varsity Soccer Recap
The girls Varsity soccer team has high hopes for the upcoming season.
Last year the girls Varsity soccer team had a decent season, having a 10-7-5 record. However, they did not make it far in the playoffs; the girls were knocked out of the race to the state title early, losing in the first regional game. A highlight of their season was when the girls beat their rival team, Lakes Community High School, 3-2. Even though the girls did not have a strong season last year does not mean they are not looking forward to this season.
The girls season is approaching and the girls could not be more excited to get the season underway. This season the girls are hoping that they go farther than they did last year and have a better record.
“I am really excited for this season,” junior Danielle Brose said. “We have all been working super hard to prepare, we are really hoping it pays off. This is our year to win a regionals.”
Tryouts start next week, Monday, February 27.
