1200 Embers is a new family-friendly restaurant that serves mixed American foods. The restaurant is located at 1200 South Main Street in Antioch, adding to the growing restaurant cluster. The menu ranges from pizza and fish to pasta and salad.

Though 1200 Embers has only been open a few weeks, the owner said it has already been profitable with crowded weekend evenings.

“The opening has been going great and Embers has been getting a lot of good business and positive attention,” owner Visal Kheam said. “I am excited to see what Embers becomes because it’s still in its beginning stages of a restaurant.”

Customers also said they’re happy with the new addition to Antioch.

“It was such a great experience,” senior Abby Pierce said. “The food was delicious and overall, everything was very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly.”
